About the Park

The Woof Patch was inspired by our own dog, Bobby.

Like many dogs, Bobby finds busy public parks and unpredictable off-lead encounters stressful and overwhelming. Finding safe spaces where he could exercise, explore, and simply enjoy being a dog without anxiety became increasingly difficult. We realised there were likely many other owners facing the same challenge — whether their dogs are reactive, nervous, in training, or just happier with their own space.

That experience led to us to set up The Woof Patch: a secure, private dog park overlooking the beautiful Blessington Lakes, where dogs can enjoy freedom and exercise in a calm, controlled environment. Every booking is private, giving owners peace of mind and dogs the chance to run, play, sniff, and relax without the pressures of crowded public spaces.

Set in a peaceful countryside location, The Woof Patch offers a safe and welcoming space for dogs and their owners to enjoy the outdoors at their own pace.

Our goal is simple — to create a place where every dog can feel comfortable, confident, and free to just be a dog.
